I’ve been bad early on at NFL so I’ll keep this quick. I like three 7-point underdogs this Sunday:
- Lions getting 7 hosting the Patriots – After betting and losing on the Patriots this past week week, is this just an overreaction on my part? BB should have the Patriots extra motivated after the embarrassment in Jacksonville but I’m not buying that this version of the Patriots is 10 points better than the Lions on a neutral field as this line suggests. Stafford is always primed for a back door cover even if the Lions get down early.
- Niners getting 7 at Chiefs – KC has no defense and I think Patty Mahomes is going to come back down to earth a bit this week. The Chiefs were 4-point favorites heading into last weekend and were 2-point favorites in this game in the preseason. Now all of a sudden that number is up to 7? I’ll gladly take those points with the now underrated Jimmy G against Patty’s overrated Chiefs.
- Chargers getting 7 at Rams – Chargers not getting respect after having played lowly Buffalo, but that offense is humming at an elite level. The Rams having blown out Arizona so thoroughly and with 6 elite quarters under their belt are laying some heavy lumber at 7 points and I’ll take the Chargers in what should be a close game.
